DriveReel
A dashcam does not record drives. It records minutes — hundreds of one-minute files with names like 20260901_135000.mp4, split across cameras, with the interesting thing almost always landing on a boundary between two of them.
DriveReel reassembles them into journeys you can scrub, search by what was seen and what was said, and hand to an insurer without re-encoding a single frame.
- Reads the GPS the camera already embedded — once a second
- Describes the footage on your own machine; nothing is uploaded
- Exports the original file, byte for byte, with its hash
A mind allowed to drift is a mind doing its best work.
Attention that is scheduled, measured and interrupted produces software that feels the same way. The studio is arranged so that the wandering happens on purpose — and the machines do the parts that never needed a wandering mind in the first place.
